  • Standard Fields

    Examples of all of the "Standard Field" items in Gravity Forms.
  • The most commonly used option- great for any short answers.
  • For slightly longer answers than single line text.
  • Allows users to select one option from a list you create.
  • Like a drop down, but people can choose multiple options by holding down the shift or control keys.
  • If the user enters a non-number, the form will display an error, and not submit. You can do calculations on the numbers.

    Advanced fields are a bit smarter than standard fields- they can do automated validation for things like URLs, email addresses, etc.

  • Allow a user to upload a file- such as a picture or resume pdf. You can restrict which file types users can upload, and how large they can be.
  • Allow users to enter a flexible number of discrete items, instead of dumping them all in a paragraph text box. Click the +/- icons to add and subtract items.
